The Group . 더그룹
더그룹’은 2019년 수네혼(Suné Horn)을 중심으로 인간의 삶에 가장 큰 근간이 될 수 있는 ‘주’, 건축, 공간 등을 작품의 주제로 하고 있는 작가들의 모임입니다.
건축 환경과 사회 환경 사이에는 본질적인 연관성이 작용합니다. 인간의 생활환경-도시들은 사회의 가치와 원칙을 반영하고 그 공간에 살고 있는 사람들에게 영향을 미칩니다. 수많은 예술품들은 작가들을 둘러싼 환경에서 나오는 경험의 표현일 뿐 아니라 사회 안에 그들의 역할을 표현하는 수단이 됩니다. ‘더그룹’ 4명의 작가들의 작품들은 각각의 주제로 만들어 지나 모든 작품들은 건축학적 도상법으로 연결되어 있습니다.
매해 1회 또는 2회의 정기전을 목표로 하고 있으며 현재까지 5번의 기획전을 갖었습니다.
‘The Group’ is a collective of artists whose work centers on themes such as architecture, space, and what it means to be human. Founded by Suné Horn in 2019.
There is an intrinsic connection between the built environment and the social domain. Cities reflect the values and principles of society and affect the people who live in them. The works produced by artists in ‘The Group’ are not only expressions of the experiences that arise from the environment around them, but also a means of expressing their role in society. Each artist follows their own theme, but all works are connected by architectural iconography.
We are aiming to hold regular exhibitions once or twice a year. We have held five group exhibitions so far.
